Caring for your Invisible Bead Extensions®️
Brushing
To brush effectively, place your hand at the top of your weft line, gently brushing from bottom to top. Get close to your weft line, please avoid snagging the top. Be sure to section and brush in between if you have multiple rows.
Washing
Brush hair prior to getting in shower. Using scrunchies or jaw clip on top to section up above and below weft line. Start with wetting hair and shampooing with your custom maintenance products. Cleansing twice at the scalp using a scissor motion will ensure a healthy wash and clean scalp. Rinse each section thoroughly to avoid buildup. Finish with conditioner or recommended mask for extra hydration leaving application up to 10 min for max results and then rinse.
Use a turban towel avoid wrapping hair in towel on top of head. keeping your wefts in natural position will avoid any pulling of the corners.
Styling
Always prep hair with quality products such as a smoothing cream, leave in and heat protectant. I personally like to cocktail all together.
Drying at the root of your wefts is must. Use a low-medium heat and always use dryer in direction in which your wefts are placed. You may allow for your ends to air dry as I know it can be more hair than you are use to but always keep them protected with your products.
* Boar bristles and ceramic brushes are recommended.
* Once ends are finished use your fav oil (clear) to keep ends hydrated
Hot Tools
Keep the temp low!!! curling irons and flat irons will discolor your extensions if not used at a lower temperature.
Swimming
Firstly, avoid any sunscreens with the ingredient avobenzone. Wet hair and SATURATE ends with leave in conditioner then style in bubble braids. After swimming wash and condition immediately.
Sleep
Use a silk pillow case! Apply your oil and brush, style hair into heatless curls, bubble braids, or regular braids.
